What shall I wear?

I am going out around town (bars and a nightclub) on a saturday nite soon with my boyfriend and some of his friends but I don't know what to wear. (Its been a long time since ive been out like that for personal reasons) I just dont know what people wear these days although my bf says a short skirt lol typical man.

Does any1 have any suggestions what i can wear, bearing in mind im 25, in the UK (so a bit cold!) long dark hair, 5'3"

Idon't want to look tarty, but want to look sexy. Some clubs don't allow jeans. If I wore a short skirt what goes with it?

Any help would be appreciated im useless!!

You're 25 so you should wear something sexy and trendy, as a girl you can wear slim jeans in clubs that normally don't accept jeans. The no jeans rule is generally for guys and if you wear dark ones with high heels it's fine.

However I think a black skirt with boots and a cool top would look nice, alternatively wear some nice tights in a nice colour with the skirt, like red or black ones

nah i think i nice tight pair of black jeans and tight top and sum of them pointy shoe things not the open toe ones

I wouldn't wear the short skirt, it gives off the wrong signals in places like bars and clubs.

I would go for a casual pair of trousers, boots, blouse and a jacket. That way you will look stunning and be sending out the right signals. You'll still turn heads, but for the right reasons.

Don't do the short skirt hun, You can still look sexy without flashin the flesh - go for leggings, with a platform shoe and a 60's inspired smock top maybe with a big belt nipped in under the bust - depending on the top. Put a bit of curl into your hair go for the messy look - and wear a thick head band. totally fab!

Oh and your make up should be suttle - go enjoy yourself hunni.....

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH EMA.Here where I am, leggings and hair bands are trendy this days.With the leggings you can wear a skirt and some top with wide sleeves!Have a great time;)

I would say if your going to wear a short skirt go for boots with them and then a pretty top thats not to revealing! Wheras if you wear some nice fitted trousers wear open toe evening shoes and a sexy top! Hair down! Lots of people are going curly now instead of straightening thier hair as much! - you'll be fine - ear something you feel comfortable and confident in - try on a few things so your not panicing at the last minute!

Wear a skirt that you are comfortable in with boots and a smart top.

Or perhaps a dress over black trousers. I wore a black and white chinese style dress over black trousers to my boyfriends birthday celebrations the other weekend. (I'm also 25 and 5'3") It kept me warm outside but a sleveless dress meant I wasn't too hot in the club.

I would suggest a bit of pick-me up shopping at low cost!

H%26amp;M has great knee length dresses, I always think that knee length is more elegant, and still shows some skin. A wrap dress or a shift dress would be perfect, and at H%26amp;M they have a good selection for low low prices.

Give yourself a treat, go shopping and spice up the dress with a nice accessory like a long necklace and big bracelette!

How about one of those crossover dresses. You can wear with boots for a retro look or over trousers.

White Stuff does a lot of them. www.whitestuff.com They also do a lot of tops that are nice but not too clingy/low cut. It's quite popular with students and people in their twenties who don't want to look tarty.
