How can i make a cute and ceap fairy costume in a few days?

i have a halloween party to attentd this weekend and i want to be a fairy or devil how can i make a costume for cheap? is it hard to make a tutu at home? my grangma is seamstress so i can get her to help but dont want her to have to work too hard..and what kind of top? i figure a tutu is cute and i can go red for devil or whatever other colr to match fairy wings if i decide to go with that...i have kinda bigger legs so i dont want hoochie mamma short just sexy!! and i want to be sexy on halloween so what kind of shirt? i have a semi large chest and i am plus size but hold myself well....should i just go with a spaghetti strap tank top and tutu type skirt or should i go long dress....and how should i do my hair and make up? for each and what do you thin is better? devil or fairy? i have like 4 parties before halloween to wear this too so it has to be cute original and durable.... lol

a tutu is not hard to make i did mine by hand in a couple of hours and im sure you grandma could do it even faster. Its bsacially a matter of buying some tule fabric, running a needle and thread through it, pulling the thread so the tule bunches, pin it to the waistband of your choice and stitch it down. I made myself a huge long tutu that came past my knees and sewed it to a black slip that i had. That way i ended up with the look of the tutu without it being transparent or having to sew several hundred layers into the thing. I also am plus size so i made the tutu fluffier in the front and a little less so in the back. this left the tutu looking round instead of puffy over my butt.

For the top i would find a flattering tank top or tube top. If you were really feeling shy you could probably get away with a snugly fitted girly t-shirt and still be cute. Keep in mind that wings have a tendency to rub at the straps, especially after you have them on for a while.

Find some cute little updo and put sparkly things in it for your hair. Glitter makeup that matches usually gets the fairy idea across as well. if you make your outfit with a red theme you can always be a red fairy and then switch the wings for horns at the next party

I went as a gothic fairy last year %26amp; i bought a wand/wings/and a head band from ebay for like 鎷?.00 ( was a set) if you cant get on ebay then try some fancy dress shops they always do little packs with things in!

All you will need is a pair of leggins, black top %26amp; sum black shoes %26amp; a tutu which i bought again on ebay for cheap, Ive never made 1 myself so i dont know how hard these are to make but just ask your grandma and see what she says
