Ok i am used to buying Mary Kate and Ashley (maybe childish but cute) berry colored gloss. Well i want to go to a sexy yet casual Colorstay Soft and Smooth lipstick. I have heard they are darker put on than when you see them in the stores. I have "soft ivory" skin, hazel eyes, and medium brown hair. I don't like colors that look brown, or too pink/hotpink. I tried perennial plum in the high shine stuff and HATED IT... it looked like I was trying to run around on the streets. I am thinking about getting Succulent Berry or Lush Orchid. My next two choices are Tender Pink or Juicy Plum. Just keep in mind they do get darker and do look a hotter pink on (atleast it did with what I tried before). Please help me find something sexy but casual. I guess I am in a rut about my appearence (new mom kind of letting go of the idea of looking beautiful and wanting to look sexy for my hubby). I will choose a best answer if I pick the color and like it. Thanks! link below....

I think the issue is is that your using Mary Kate and Ashley makeup. Thats geared for preteens who want to wear makeup but not look like grown adults. Hence the price and quality.
I think you should stay in the lipgloss family but find a better brandname like Mac, Nars, or Smashbox. They have many colors and types you would want to buy the whole collection, some even have lipstick qualities but glosslike. You have your sublte glosses and your supershiny glosses. Lipstick to me is old fashioned. Most men like sexy, moist lips, not dry matte lips.

go with natural cashmere or sheer blossom
they're the most natural shades and the lightest
sheer blossom won't go all that pink
but if it does, go with natural cashmere, its sophisticted, yet sexy, and would be great for casualness
