Who is your favorite Anita Blake character (by Laurell K Hamilton) and why?

I have a hard time choosing between 4 of her men and frequently go back and forth between who I am in love with most.

Asher because of his brooding, dark personality... and that golden hair. You just want to take care of him!

Jean-Claude because, obviously, he's the one in charge and gorgeous.

Micah, because he is soooo supportive and accomodating (who doesn't want to be held by him??) And those eyes!

And last but not least, Nathaniel, with the body, and also the submissive personality grown stronger. He just seems like a big sexy teddy bear to me.

They all have very different looks, and eyes and hair...it's so hard to choose! Tell me who you are drawn to and why. Would u rather be with a vamp or a lycanthrope?

I'd rather be with a lycanthrope, I think, but my choice is...

Edward. You did say which character I liked the best, right? He got on my nerves at times since he often had to "do his job" which might be threatening Anita, but he was also a trusted friend. They have a beautiful love/hate relationship. I think where I started to like him even more was Obsidian Butterfly. He got to be more real and was full of interesting surprises. Nice to get a little of his background. And he doesn't judge Anita or string her along - he respects her. I don't know that I'd want to share myself with him, however...

Who is your favorite Anita Blake character (by Laurell K Hamilton) and why?

As a straight man, I'm not really looking for a teddy bear guy or handsome fellow with flashing eyes and blond hair (especially since what hair I have is still blond). But I like Jean-Claude. I just think Laurell overdoes the sex in her recent books. I guess I tend more to the vamps, as classier.
